MORNING    GLORY   REFERENCES   PAST AND PRESENT

  •   I'm writing a referral for Morning Glory Day Care in Middle River, Maryland. Both of my children went to Morning Glory Day Care when they were younger. The center was always clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. My children had a routine each day that also included a learning environment. They were not just sat in front of a television all day. They went on trips and also went out to play during nice weather. They had snacks and made friends with the other children there.  Ms. Teri is experienced and very pleasant. My kids loved being at Morning Glory Day Care.

  •   To Whom It May Concern:

This letter is in reference to Morning Glory Daycare and Mrs. Teri Gant. I am honored to write this  letter of reference to recommend Teri Gant for your growing family.   Teri  was our daycare provider for many years. I have two daughters who started daycare  with Morning Glory when they were 1 and 3 years old and stayed in her daycare until they started Kindergarten. Teri was warm and friendly and welcomed my girl’s right into her home daycare. Teri took an active role in the children’s health, education, and would develop personal plans for the kids to work on, such as potty training orbehavior. For example, my daughter Gabriella was not fully potty trained when shestarted daycare with Teri at age 3 Teri immediately assisted in the process and had her using the potty within days of starting her daycare. When it was time for my youngest daughter to be potty trained, Teri jumped right on board and made the process so easy for us at home. This is just one of the many things Teri went above and beyond for my daughters and treated them like her own.  As a parent, safety is your number one concern when leaving them with someone all
day long. Teri has 30 years experience as a licensed daycare provider. She is CPR certified and continues to take classes to keep all her certificates current. I felt safe leaving my daughters with her every day.  Morning Glory Daycare is a fun and family oriented daycare. My daughters made
friends that will last them a lifetime here. They enjoyed the time they spent with Teri Gant and we were so lucky to have someone like her to care for our children for many years. I highly recommend Teri Gant and Morning Glory Daycare.  I have included my contact information and would love to share more experiences or answer any questions that might come up. It’s a hard decision selecting daycare for
your infant or child. I am confident that Morning Glory is the best around. It’s built on  family values and filled with lots of love from Teri Gant.
Sincerely

  • To whom it may concern,

It is with great pleasure that I write this letter.  Terri Gant, also known as “Mammie” to my children and I, have known each other well over 20 years.  I was a single mom of 19 years when I first met Mrs. Gant, I was nervous and scared at the thought of putting my baby and her care in the hands of a stranger.  Within five minutes of meeting her I knew she was the one.  She wears her kind, compassionate heart on her sleeve and has a deep devotion to each and every child.  My daughter thrived there.  “Mammie” took wonderful care of her, helped me ween her off of her pacifier, the bottle and when the time was right potty trained my daughter.  She also was full of information and suggestions whenever I had a question or problem.  I never worried when my daughter was there, for I knew she was safe, happy and cared for.  As my daughter was aging out of daycare I found out I was expecting another child, I knew there was no other place when the time came but to “Mammie’s” house.  He thrived there as well, I had no worries because I knew my son was safe, happy and loved as if he was her own grandchild.  As the years progressed and my middle child was getting ready to head off to school, I was expecting my third and last child.  Once again there wasn’t even a question where he would be going. My last child, my son, was a bit of a handful and struggled with ADHD and “Mammie” showed him nothing but love, tenderness and complete understanding.  He stayed with her until he aged out of daycare.  I was so grateful as he entered elementary school because every day when I picked him up his homework was finished and he got to play and burn off some of his energy.  I can say that till this day my children and “Mammie” still talk and occasionally see each other.  I am grateful for the mother she was to my children and couldn’t imagine having that with anyone else.    ~Deanna DeLoach

  • As mother's we have to wear many hats. And having to work, you want to know that your child is being given not only the care you would give, but the love as well. When I leave my son, I know Teri cares for him and he is happy to be there by his reactions to her. It makes it a bit easier knowing he is happy, well cared for and truly loved.  ~Lindsay
